Boules de Gui by Duncan MacDonald the Andrew and Laura McCain Art Gallery
Duncan MacDonald is a contemporary artist originally from Hartland,
NB, currently based in St. Catherine's,
Ontario. He works with audio, performance, video, photography,
drawing and diverse media to explore the uncanny and the unfamiliar.
Boules de Gui , a series of recent charcoal drawings by MacDonald, depict foggy, mysterious landscapes.

MacDonald teaches cultural theory, foundation studio in visual arts, interdisciplinary studio and drawing at Brock University. He holds a BFA in Visual Arts from York University and an MFA in Fine and Media Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. His works have been exhibited, performed and featured throughout Canada, the US, South America and Europe. Recent projects include a residency at La Cit Internationale des Arts in Paris, France
