Ann is a true polymath of artistic media. She constantly experiments and explores, from painting to print- making, into photography and installation-based sculpture, she has an interest in conveying a message at every level of an artistic work - from the material to the subject.

Ann Manuel has lived and worked as a visual artist and art educator across Canada and around the world. She has a BFA from Mount Allison University, a BEd from Queen's University and a Masters of Arts from the University of British Columbia and has been exhibiting since 1973
