Currently, more than 650 works of art and 250 artists are represented in the collection. In 2005-06, the Art Bank honored the following artists by selecting their work to add to the permanent collection; Meghan Barton, Andrea Butler, Alexandra Flood, Rosemary McAulay, Jennifer Macklem, Ann Manuel, Raymond Martin, Paul Mathieson, Sarah Petite, Colin Smith, Lynn Wigginton and Janice Wright-Cheney.

The 2006 Acquisitions Exhibition showcases some of the best work being produced in the province today and represents a wide range of media including painting, printmaking, textiles and sculpture.
