Young and Fearless

The Andrew and Laura McCain Art Gallery is pleased to invite you to join us Thursday February 2 between 7:00 and 9:00 pm for the opening reception of Young and Fearless, an exhibition featuring photographs and stories of 30 cancer survivors who were all 30 years old or younger. It is a social awareness exhibit about the survivorship of cancer.

Artist Shari Chapman Tucker returns home to share how participating in the traveling exhibit Cancer Connections (www.photosensitive.com) has led her on an inspiring and heart warming journey. Her quest to bring to life the stories of cancer survivors has led to two art shows, two books, and seen photos from Young and Fearless in two national traveling exhibitions.

Refreshments will be served, and copies of Shari's book will be available for purchase.

The exhibit will be on display February 2 - March 29, 2012
