6th Annual Buttermilk Creek Fall Festival
On September 16th and 17th join the Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery and the Town of Florenceville-Bristol in celebrating the 6th annual Buttermilk Creek Fall Festival!
This festival is a time to celebrate the annual harvest with Harvest foods, song, children's activities, a huge Farm Market with local produce, fine crafts and art, a Scarecrow Auction, and the Harvest Moon Movie. The Family Fun Run, a 10 & 5 k run/walk in support of Farmers Helping Farmers, returns this year.

Harvest Moon Movie
NCCC Park

Kick off your fall with a cool outdoor screening of Casper
(1995 version, Bill Pullman & Christina Ricci, rated PG).
Bring a Food Bank donation as admission. Refreshments available
for purchase at the movie from Relay for Life team Rene's
Rebels. Bring a blanket and lawnchair to snuggle up
and enjoy the movie!

Harvest Breakfast

Hosted by Pugs Canteen and the Andrew & Laura McCain Art
Gallery (ALMAG), with thanks to our St. Leo‘s CWL volunteers!
Drop in to start your day with a delicious breakfast of
pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast or grab a
coffee to go.
Payment is by donation. Proceeds to support ALMAG programming.
Family Fun Run
9am
The
Farmers Helping Farmers 10, 5, &2 k run/walk in
support of East African farmers, returns this year. Organizer
14 year old Caitlyn McCarthy was named this year's recipient
of the
Farmers Helping Farmers Youth Award for her
work in raising enough funds to build a primary school classroom
in Kenya, a large part of which were raised through the
2010 Buttermilk Creek Fall Festival run. Registration will
happen the morning of the run, the run begins at the Northern
Carlton Civic Centre Arena. Come out to offer your support!
Farm Market & Craft Fair
In the NCCC arena
9am - 2pm
Find an abundance of handcrafted treasures, talented craftspersons
and artists, locally grown harvest, homemade culinary delights,
and cast a vote for your favorite in the
ALMAG Harvest Photo Contest.

Vendors serving hot and tasty morsels. New this year - Deep

Puppet Show & Kids Art Activity
In the Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery at 8 McCain Street

All families welcome to enjoy a fall puppet show and create
in the gallery. Presented by the Andrew & Laura McCain Library
and Step Ahead Bath Family Learning Center.
Scarecrow Auction
NCCC arena (moved with the
music, on stage in the arena, not the park as originally
advertised)
12 - 1pm
Get in on the bidding action to buy your very own fantastic
scarecrow! Scarecrows built and generously donated by local
businesses, organizations, and families; auction proceeds
to support ALMAG programming.
Victor Bear Basketmaking Workshop
In the Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery at 8 McCain Street
1 - 4pm
Learn the traditional art of basketmaking from a master.
$25/participant. Preregister by Sept. 12th by contacting
ALMAG at 392-6769.
Community Art In The Park
NCCC Park
1 - 3pm
All ages invited to collaborate creatively in a large scale
mural project! Meet in the park with your paint clothes
on. Brought to you by ALMAG.
