Opening reception, May 14th, 6 to 8pm
Join us Tuesday evening at 6 pm as we open our special one-week student showcase, a celebration of the artistic talent in our local schools.
Bath Elementary & Middle Schools are this year’s schools on showcase, with each student having a piece of art on display, in a variety of mediums.
Everyone is invited to the opening reception for refreshments and a chance to meet the young artists.
Come and applaud our budding artists, invite your family members to come and sing their praises, refreshments will be served.
Opening reception will be held May 14th, 6 to 8 pm. The students exhibit will be shown at The Andrew and Laura McCain Art Gallery May 14th to May 18th.

Join us May 23rd as we celebrate the opening of our much anticipated “Two Rivers” exhibit.
The Fine Arts faculty at Mount Allison University put out a challenge to high school students in New Brunswick to look to their own backyard for inspiration in their art making..
Two local schools, Woodstock High and Carleton North High, were invited to take part in this challenge.
In addition to providing the exhibition space, The Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery brought in community Artists to take part in the project alongside students.
We have named this collaboration Two Rivers because we are two schools and two communities who live and work along two significant rivers in our own backyard – the Meduxnekeag and the Saint John.
Participants have responded to the project in a variety of art forms including painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, video, written and performance work. It is also an exhibition that celebrates the process of art making as much as the final results.
