7th Annual Buttermilk Creek Fall Festival »
Along with refreshments and musical entertainment provided by Tracy and Amy Anderson, live performance painter, Sharon Ep1c, will be there capturing the evening on canvas as it unfolds in front of her!
Sharon's theatrical performance painting is a spectacle to watch and any/all of the paintings she creates over the course of Buttermilk Creek will be auctioned off on September 22nd and the NCCC after the scarecrow auction!
Part 1: September 6, 2012 6:30 -8am
Part 2: September 13, 2012 6:30 -8am Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery
The annual scarecrow auction is one of the most popular fundraisers for the ALMAG -- Partly because it's a great way to get creative and embrace the fall season in the River Valley, and largely because the proceeds from the auction go to supporting the ever-expanding arts programming that ALMAG is offering to the community and its members!
If you would like to get involved with the Fall fun and you'd like to create and donate a scarecrow to the auction, join us for this 2 part workshop where the first session will involve making a papier mache head and the second session involves building the body, assembling and decorating your scarecrow masterpiece!
If you're already a master scarecrow builder and would like to donate a scarecrow to the auction but don't feel the workshop is necessary, by all means, give us a shout!
